As part of this commitment, Google is investing in the digital economies of Asia to include the $10 billion Google for India Digitization Fund and Google’s Digital Future Initiative in Australia. With access to cloud technologies, researchers can make more breakthroughs and students can learn new technical skills to prepare them for the future.
We have committed to investing $7 million dollars in Latin America over the next year to help founders access capital needed to scale. investing in startups is part of our five-year, $1.2 billion commitment to the region. As a result of Google’s investment in the region, researchers have been able to develop technology or study areas such as Advanced Deep Learning, sustainable urban development and healthcare remote patient monitoring.Â
