The future of startups is on Google Cloud: A look at the key launches at Next ’23

The energy from startups and founders is buzzing all-around and it’s been wonderful to reconnect in person at Google Cloud Next ‘23 in San Francisco. This year, we injected even more of a startup flare to the event, with an unprecedented amount of programming custom-made for startups, including the dedicated Startup Lounge. Here, founders came together and had the opportunity to connect directly with Google leaders and learn from Google Cloud experts about how our technology and programs can supercharge their growth.

After several days packed with engaging content, learnings, and networking, we’d like to share some of the exciting announcements that Google Cloud and select startups, powered by Google Cloud, made at the event: 

Google for Startups Startup School: AI 

At Google Cloud we firmly believe that the benefits of AI should be accessible to everyone – from startups to small businesses, to enterprises. So, we’re excited to announce Google for Startups Startup School: AI, a six-week in-depth online AI training course, which will launch in January 2024. 

This live, interactive online course is led by our AI experts and will teach you how to build with Google Cloud AI products and solutions, regardless of your experience level. You will learn how to construct ideal prompts, optimize LLMs, and deploy a chatbot in just a few clicks. You’ll have access to all the course materials and recordings outside of classes.

Upon completion you’ll receive an official Google Cloud credential via Google Cloud Skills Boost and a certificate of attendance. Come join us and be a part of a community of learners who can share ideas and support each other throughout the program and beyond. Register today!

Meet the AI pioneers at Next ’23, powered by Google Cloud

At Next ‘23, we had the pleasure of collaborating with a host of startups. They worked hand-in-hand with our teams, tapping into the power of Google Cloud and the Google for Startups Cloud Program. It was inspirational to see these startups launch innovative new products at Next ’23: 

Woofer AI: Pawfect Match Quiz

Ever wondered if you’re more of a cat person or a dog lover? Satisfy your furiosity and find your pawfect pal with a fun quiz organized by the team behind Woof. But that’s not all, get a sneak peek into how the Woof AI team worked their development magic with Google Cloud AI technologies to create a smart canine chatbot. Now, pet parents have access to on-demand pawrental advice for all four-legged family members. 

Connected-Stories: GenAIssance, the new GAI-powered Creative Studio

The new gen AI-powered creative studio part of its Creative Management Platform (CMP.) that empowers marketers to effortlessly bring to life dynamic personalized ads that adapt their narratives and visuals in real-time. GenAIssance introduces a unique feature – a chatbot named Da Vinci that orchestrates the underlying Google’s generative foundation models from idea generation through asset production reducing the time it takes to prompt and optimize the gen AI models from weeks to minutes.

Arize: Arize Search and Retrieval and Prompt Template Analysis Workflows

With Arize Prompt Template Analysis, users can compare LLM performance across prompte template versions, iterate on their prompt templates, and analyze performance of new versions in real time to understand the impact on their LLMs. 

Fireworks.AI: Fireworks Gen AI platform

Fireworks.ai released the Fireworks GenAI Platform. A platform that enables product developers to run, fine-tune, and share Large Language Models (LLMs) to best solve your product problems.

Chalk.ai: Chalk Branches

Chalk.ai launched Chalk Branches, which makes it fast & easy to productionize data science experiments. Build features in Jupyter notebooks, deploy pipelines in milliseconds, and compute temporally correct datasets with the same code that you use to serve feature vectors in production.

Telmai: Open architecture and AI-driven platform for faster enterprise adoption.

Telmai is making its most significant release since its first product launch. This release includes several enterprise capabilities like data binning within the pipeline, a functionality that helps separate bad data from good data before its downstream impact, like model training. This release also supports pipeline lineage to reduce time to detect and time to resolve inconsistencies across systems; the ability to build complex data contracts across multiple attributes, and launch of private cloud deployments on Google Cloud. The product has also just launched on Google Marketplace.

Aiven.io: Aiven Cluster Startup Program

Aiven, the trusted open source cloud data platform, announced the launch of its enhanced Cluster startup program, reaffirming its commitment to supporting early-stage companies on their path to success. The program enables startups up to series B to access up to $100,000 in Aiven platform credits to build their modern data infrastructure on the Aiven platform with Google Cloud.

Say goodbye to inflated prices! With Tre’dish Buying Group, users gain unprecedented access to a curated selection of local vendors who share our passion for empowering small food businesses. Launching September 2023.

Symbl.ai– Nebula – the LLM and Embeddings for Human Conversations 

Symbl.ai is an AI platform enabling businesses to transform unstructured audio, video content into structured insights. They launched Nebula, their family of embedding and LLMs that is built to understand the nuances of human conversations.
