AIAB Announces ZbyHP as Newest Corporate Partner
March 7, 2023
Wharton AI & Analytics for Business (AIAB) welcomes ZbyHP as its newest corporate partner.
Recently, through the Wharton AIAB corporate partnership, ZbyHP has helped support the Women in Data Science (WiDS) at Penn Conference. ZbyHP builds high-performance laptops, desktops and solutions designed for creative and technical pros. WiDS Philadelphia @ Penn is an independent event that is organized by the Wharton School and Penn Engineering as part of the annual WiDS Worldwide conference, and an estimated 200 WiDS Regional Events worldwide. A celebrated interdisciplinary event, WiDS @ Penn welcomed academic, industry, and student speakers from across the data science landscape to celebrate its diversity, both in subject matter and personnel on Feb 3, 2023. Ticket fees and sponsorship dollars from the event were given as need-based scholarship for female high school students participating in Wharton’s Data Science Academy.
Additionally, ZbyHP has generously provided one of their premiere workstations to AIAB for research use by both student and academic researchers throughout 2023.
“We are excited to welcome ZbyHP as our newest Corporate Partner. Their ZbyHP machine is amazingly fast and will give the gift of time back to our students and academic community because the machine is able to compute high levels of data in a very efficient way. By focusing on data analysis and not worrying about computing issues, students will continue to innovate using AI, ML and analytics to answer complex business questions especially when they are working on large datasets with complex algorithms. We are also very grateful for their partnership to sponsor the WiDS 2023 event and scholarship funds. The annual WiDS event is really important to us and it’s with the support of companies like ZbyHP that we are able to keep curate the content, invite innovative industry and academic leaders in the data science field to speak and secure space for the important work of promoting women in data science” says Mary Purk, Executive Director of AI & Analytics for Business.
The renowned corporate program at AIAB provides ZbyHP with the opportunity to engage with faculty, staff, and students to tackle business analytics problems, engage in research and thought leadership, and prepare the next generation of data-driven decision makers.
“ZbyHP is excited to embark on this corporate partnership with the Wharton AIAB, while also sponsoring the Women in Data Science (WiDS) at Penn Conference. HP as an organization has an unwavering commitment around diversity, equality, and inclusion that include achieving 50/50 gender equality in HP leadership by 2030, as well as attaining greater then 30% technical women and women in engineering roles by 2030.
